The fund invests in the fixed income markets of emerging countries across the globe. It invests directly and through derivatives such as forward contracts in US Dollar denominated, fixed and floating-rate sovereign and quasi-sovereign entities with the returns being hedged to Euro. The fund invests in securities with a minimum remaining time to maturity of 2 years. It seeks to replicate the performance of the J.P. Morgan EMBI Global Core Index hedged to Euro, by employing representative sampling methodology. iShares J. P.
