It invests in the public equity markets of developed countries in Europe. The fund seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in the stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies. The fund invests in the stocks of companies which focus on economic, environmental, and social criteria. It seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI Europe SRI Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. The fund does not invest in the stocks of companies operating in the alcohol, tobacco, gambling, armaments & firearms, and adult entertainment sectors. It was formerly known as iShares II Public Limited Company - iShares Dow Jones Europe Sustainability Screened UCITS ETF. iShares MSCI Europe SRI UCITS ETF was formed on February 25, 2011 and is domiciled in Ireland.
