The fund invests in public equity markets of developed countries across the globe. It seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating in the health care sector, which include companies which manufacture health care equipment and supplies or provide health care related services, including distributors of health care products, providers of basic health-care services, and owners and operators of health care facilities and organizations, and companies involved in the research, development, production and marketing of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology products. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies. It seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI World Health Care Index Net USD, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. iShares MSCI World Health Care Sector Advanced UCITS ETF was formed on August 19, 2011 and is domiciled in Ireland.
