The fund invests in the fixed income markets of Italy. It uses derivatives such as swaps to invest in the zero coupon sovereign debt which includes BOT (Buono Ordinario del Tesoro) securities with a maturity of up to 12 months. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the MTS Italy BOT - Ex-Bank of Italy Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology. It was formerly known as db x-trackers II - MTS Ex-Bank of Italy BOT UCITS ETF. Xtrackers Italy Government Bond 0-1 Swap UCITS ETF was formed on January 12, 2012 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
