It also engages in the property holding business; aluminium fabrication and distribution of tiles. The company distributes its products through showrooms, factory outlets, direct dealers, social media, mobile app, distributors, trade exhibitions and sub dealers.

It also exports its products to the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, Middle East, and Asia. The company was formerly known as Lanka Floortiles PLC and changed its name to Lanka Tiles PLC in July 2013.

The company was founded in 1977 and is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Lanka Tiles PLC is a subsidiary of Lanka Walltiles PLC.
