Vallibel Power Erathna Company Description

Vallibel Power Erathna PLC engages in the generation and supply of hydroelectric energy to the Ceylon Electricity Board in Sri Lanka.

It manages and operates three mini hydropower plants, comprising Erathna project in Kuruwita; Denawaka Ganga project in Rathnapura; and Kiriwaneliya project in Norton Bridge with a generation capacity of 21.85 megawatts.

The company was formerly known as Power Company Erathna Limited and changed its name to Vallibel Power Erathna PLC in June 2005.

The company was incorporated in 2001 and is headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
