The strategy positions Connected Workplace as the foundation, with Healthcare Infrastructure and Frontline Operations as growth engines. Targets toward 2030 are double-digit average annual revenue growth and EBITDA margin above 15%.

Henrik Mørck Mogensen
CEO, RTX

Welcome. We have just hosted our Investor Day in Copenhagen, where we presented the next growth chapter for RTX. It was really a great opportunity to meet both investors, analysts, and journalists, shared our ambitions. What I liked the most was really the ability to discuss, have good questions on the opportunities that we see ahead for RTX. We are building the next chapter of RTX from a strong position. We have more than 30 years of wireless expertise, long-standing partnerships with category-leading customers. Really a solid business to build on, which we also proved over the last couple of years. Our ambition is to become the wireless infrastructure partner for mission-critical communication, connecting what matters in environments where communication must be reliable, secure, and scalable, and where failure is not an option.

Across the markets we serve, communication is becoming more connected, software-enabled, and integrated into our daily workflows. Really here, our opportunity is to use what we've done for more than 30 years, using our core technology, capabilities, and relationships that we already have to become an even larger part of the solutions that our customers need. As part of this new ambition, we are introducing new names for our business areas, our four strategic positions. These new names are more precisely describing the markets we serve and the role that RTX plays in the value chain and in the direction that we want to develop each position. What we previously called Enterprise is now Connected Workplace. It remains our core business and provides a foundation of important customer relationships, technology capabilities, scale, and not least, financial strength.

Frontline Operations is called out as a distinct strategic growth position, focusing on communication and digital workflows for frontline teams in retail and other operational environments. Healthcare is now Healthcare Infrastructure. The name reflects our ambition to move from being a wireless patient monitoring partner to becoming a broader wireless infrastructure partner in connected care. ProAudio is now Critical Communications. This better reflects the mission-critical applications in which our technology is used and the longer-term opportunities we are exploring. These four positions have different roles. Connected Workplace is the foundation. Healthcare Infrastructure, Frontline Operations are our two primary growth engines, and Critical Communications is an area where we will sustain the existing profitable module business while validating a deeper, longer-term opportunity. Moving closer into the Healthcare Infrastructure, the patient monitoring market is attractive for two reasons. Demand is growing structurally.

Portion of elderly and society is growing and demand for complex care is increasing. This put requirements on for reliability, regulation, and clinical application, which make it hard for new competitors to enter, and it's a huge market. The global in-hospital monitoring market was above EUR 12 billion in 2023 and expected to grow above EUR 16 billion in 2030. In U.S. hospitals, we and our partner, Philips, already have more than 1,500 installation of our infrastructure, proving that wireless patient monitoring makes a difference every day.

You could say wireless patient monitoring has become the standard practice. At the same time, hospitals must deliver care in more places to more patients with the same resources. Patients move between departments, into imaging, in corridors, but even beyond the hospital, and monitoring must follow them beyond the bedside. In this environment, wireless communication cannot fail. A dropped signal can mean a missed alarm.

Medical certification, protected spectrum, and long product lifecycle raise the bars of entry. Once a solution becomes part of the clinical workflows, hospitals rarely replace it. This combination of structural growth, critical requirements, high switching cost makes the market both attractive and defensible for company with the capabilities of RTX and the experience and partnerships that we do have. Let's take a closer look at Frontline Operations, our second major growth engine. The addressable market is large and still underserved. Across E.U., U.K., and North America, there are around 5 million retail stores, and much of the market still relies on legacy radios or informal communication channels. At the same time, stores are changing. Labor shortages and higher wages increase pressure on efficiency and productivity. Stores increasingly operate as omnichannel fulfillment hubs, which make real-time coordination more important.

Voice alerts, workflows, data, and AI are becoming to converge on common platforms. This creates an attractive return for retailers. When teams are leaner, every minute saved matters, and once communication and workflows become embedded in store operations, the solution becomes increasingly valuable and sticky. We are today proving that with our long-term partner, VoCoVo, that has brought our technology to more than 80,000 stores across Europe and U.S. Our strategic priorities translate into clear financial ambitions. Towards 2030, we are targeting double-digit average annual revenue growth. By 2030, we aim to achieve an EBIT margin, or EBITDA margin, sorry, above 15%. These ambitions reflect both the growth opportunities in our markets and our focus on improving the quality and profitability of growth. We do not simply want to sell more products.

We want to build a broader business with a growing contribution from integrated solutions, software, and services. Execution remains key. In Healthcare Infrastructure, the focus is expanding beyond the cardiac wards. In Frontline Operations, it's geographical expansion, followed by a broader offering. In Connected Workplace, it's completing the transition to next-generation platform while maintaining a strong and profitable foundation. Across RTX, profitable growth remains the anchor. We will invest where we have clear competitive advantage and a credible right to win while maintaining financial and operational discipline. RTX has a strong foundation. Our core technology, capability, and financial position provide the base for the next chapter. We are positioned in attractive growth markets, particularly in Healthcare Infrastructure and Frontline Operations. We have a proven right to win. We are building from established partnerships, deployed technology, and positions that already work.

That gives a strong foundation for our ambition of disciplined, profitable growth, double-digit annual revenue growth towards 2030, an EBITDA margin above 15% by 2030, and a broader and more scalable RTX over time.
