Amundi Japan Topix is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Amundi Asset Management. It invests in the public equity markets of Japan. The fund uses derivatives such as swaps to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in the stocks of large-cap companies, the returns being hedged to Euro. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the TOPIX Euro Daily Hedged Strategy Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology. The index seeks to track the daily performance of the TOPIX Index. It was formerly known as Amundi ETF Japan Topix UCITS ETF. Amundi Japan Topix was formed on August 27, 2012 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
