It invests in the Euro denominated, fixed-rate covered bonds with a maturity of above 1 year. The fund invests in investment grade rated bonds which are rated as BBB or higher by S&P and Baa2 or higher by Moody's. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Markit iBoxx Pfandbriefe Index (Total Return Index), by employing representative sampling methodology. The fund was formerly known as iShares Pfandbriefe (DE). iShares Pfandbriefe UCITS ETF (DE) was founded on December 2, 2004 and is domiciled in Germany.
