It is co-managed by UBS Asset Management and UBS Asset Management (UK) Limited. The fund invests in the public equity markets of Japan. It invests directly and through derivatives in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors, with a focus on companies that are consistent with specific values based criteria such as religious beliefs, moral standards or ethical views, and targets companies with high ESG ratings relative to their sector peers. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies. It seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI Japan SRI Index (Net Return), by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. UBS MSCI Japan Socially Responsible UCITS ETF was formed on July 22, 2015 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
