Xtrackers Japan Government Bond UCITS ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by Deutsche Asset Management S.A. It is managed by State Street Global Advisors Limited. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of Japan. It uses derivatives such as swaps to invest in Japanese Yen denominated, fixed-rate sovereign bonds with a minimum remaining time to maturity of at least one year. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Markit iBoxx Japan Sovereign Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology. It was formerly known as db x-trackers II - JAPAN GOVERNMENT BOND UCITS ETF (DR). Xtrackers Japan Government Bond UCITS ETF was formed on November 15, 2013 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
