Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Thanks all for attending COSL's 2021 annual results press conference. Please take note of our disclaimer for the materials included in this presentation. Today's presentation will be divided into two parts. First is 2021 results overview. In 2021, the global demand for crude oil continued to recover, and the international oil price gradually reduced the main shocks. According to Spears Report, the scale of global oilfield services market in 2021 increased by 3% compared with that in 2020. Although the international oil price had recovered previously, the investment of international oil companies in exploration and development was underutilized and the recovery of oilfield services market was low.

In 2021, the company actively coordinated the pandemic control into the production and operation, refined and implemented the cost reduction, and promoted the R&D and the commercialization of core technologies. During the period, the company's revenue was RMB 29.2 billion , and net profit was RMB 322 million . The operating revenue Well Services increased by 13.2% over the same period, and the operating profit increased by RMB 337 million to RMB 3.4 billion year-over-year. The computation of operating profit has been continuously improved. From the performance of the four segments in 2021, the revenue increased year-over-year, and the profitability continued to improve. Well Services has made every effort to sell key core technologies, accelerate the promotion and application of independent equipment, and realize the continuous release of profitability.

In 2021, the company continued to perform well in precise cost on the target of reducing cost and increasing efficiency through reducing materials consumption, preparing subcontracting as well as leasing costs and others. COSL adheres to the strategy of technological development. The technology development direction is more focused. The scientific and technological achievements are more effective. The innovation ecosystem is more perfect. The digital layout is more in-depth. The company adheres to the core position of innovation and has significantly improved its ability to ensure energy security. In 2021, the company continued to promote the float offshore steam-driven project at home and abroad, focusing on the needs of oil fields. One oil field, one strategy, one oil well, and one team. The company spared no effort to ensure the speed and efficiency of heavy oil thermal recovery.

The D plus W capability has been greatly improved and the application scale has continued to expand. In terms of market development, the company has made achievements in market development at home and abroad, effectively stabilizing the fundamentals of overseas operations and laying a good foundation for the healthy and sustainable development of overseas markets. Safe and efficient service has made COSL Confidence, COSL Power, COSL 936 and other large equipment praised by customers. The company seized the opportunity of the rebound of oilfield service market demand, actively communicated with customers, and steadily pushed towards overseas market development, making new breakthroughs in Iraq, Mexico, Brazil, Uganda and other countries.

Focus on the positioning of a first class energy services company that provides for lifecycle services to customers. The company will focus on management of subsurface oil and gas sites, give full play to the leading role of geological re-reserving, takes the integrated service model as a carrier, strengthening the synergy of various professionals. This constructed the system and improve the mechanism and celebrate the achievement of the company's new strategic goals.

The company will continue to take the advantage of the complete business team to raise the organic synergy of the each business line and continue to expand the scale of integrated services, continuously exploring new markets and expanding market share with customers' demand as the guide. Adhere to green low carbon development, make efforts in large equipment and great technology to promote the transformation and upgrading of the company, continuously increase investment in environmental friendly equipment, and pay close attention to green and low carbon technology research. In the future, opportunities from new projects such as land-based business and wind power and expected increase. As of December 31, 2021, the company operates and manages 57 drilling rigs, including 43 jack-up drilling rigs and 14 semi drilling rigs. The company continues to promote the transformation of aging rigs, continuously optimize the equipment structure, and expand the channels of drilling services. I have two questions. Thank you so much. Good morning. For the first question is recently we have seen the oil price has returned to over $100 in the international market. I wonder how the workload of overseas market in 2022, can you elaborate on this? Will we expect any pickup of the price, on the of the market in overseas market? Second is last year we have seen a significant drop of the daily rate of semi-submersibles down by 27%. How would the daily rate for semi-submersible and jack-up this year, would they have an increase of the daily rate?

好,那我来回答这位先生的这两个问题。首先第一个问题,目前我们看到的这个油价总体上回到了一百以上。那么这里边,我们认为主要是因为受到目前这个俄乌之间的冲突引起的,作为一个主要原因。当然,这里边也有这个疫情之后世界经济逐步回暖的这么一个过程。但是目前,我们认为主要因素还是短时间的这个地区冲突造成的这个油价回到这个比较高的水平上。那么对我们海外的业务,总体上来讲,应该还是正面的。而且我们通过去年一年,我们也确实看到了整个石油行业进入了一个回暖的通道。从近一年的时间,我们补货市场的能力,还有补货市场的额度,相应地也有所增加。那么总体上看来,公司补货市场的速度,应该说是优于这个业绩回暖的速度,这个油价回暖的速度,或者是油田服务市场上升的速度。那么另外,应该说目前公司针对海外市场的布局,短时间内会见效,但是应该说成效不是特别明显,应该着重在后期的相对来说比较长远的,那么改善海外业务的运营质量和运营环境,同时塑造这个更好的海外业务发展质量。我觉得总体上来讲,短期之内有一定的影响,但不是特别明显,但长期,我想会有一个比较正面的影响。那么第二个,是关于这个日费率,从中国近海的这个勘探开发活动上来讲,应该说也跟国际原油形势一样,这个油价的升高促成了中国海上的这个回暖。那么另外,也是结合国家和政府的这个七年行动计划增储上产的要求,整个通道确立回暖的态势,是不用怀疑的。那么另外,这个也应该看到,在比较长的时间内,油服的这个装备结构,始终处在动态调整的一些状态。有一些是适用于比较深水的装备,短时间内还难以利用起来,所以说客观地造成一些,虽然海上的勘探开发活动起来了,但是适用的船、钻井平台,相对来说不是百分之百的适配,那么这里边就有一个浅水的油田开发和深水的装备匹配的问题。那么有的时候,我们结合了这个高的利用率和相对较低的价格,那么这么一个方式来对冲这个资源不匹配的问题。那么另外一个,就是这种对冲,从另外一个方面也减少了我们日常这个过多的待机时间和停留时间造成的额外的成本增加。我们想,通过这两个方面,即使这个油价在上升,但是应该说对泛浅,它的总体盈利形势处在一个稳定爬升的状况,比去年要说改善的幅度很大,我们也确实没有这个信心,但是应该逐渐向好了。谢谢。

For the first question, we indeed have already seen the oil price in international markets are rising above $100. I think the main reason is because of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Also the second reason is the post-pandemic economic recovery. The first reason, definitely the major reason. We have seen that because of the short-term conflict, the price is surging to a high level of oil price in the market. We have seen that this is definitely positive for the overseas market in the general way. In 2021, we already see the picking up and warming up of the oil market overseas. In 2021 to 2022, we definitely have a faster speed of getting and acquiring the market faster than the speed of the oil price picking up or the increasing of this oil field service.

You also have to know that without any doubt, it will have this positive influence on us in the short- term. I think the short- term influence will not be too significant, and we still have to focus on the long- term development. It's mainly focusing on the improvement of the overseas market quality and the environment of that. For the second question for the daily rates, and recently we have seen the taking up of this offshore, operation and demand and also the rise of the market price because of that, and also because of the rise of the oil price, it has seen a significant more demand of that. We also have seen, without any doubt, the overall warming up of the entire channel of China.

The oilfield service is still under this dynamic adjustment. For the deepwater rigs and facilities are just not compatible with this offshore shallow water one. For this kind of shallow water development and exploration, together with the deepwater rigs and the drilling devices, we have seen this incompatibility. The utility rates plus this low price has also made this incompatibility of the resources. We can see that because of the downtime and the waiting time, and it also has boosted the cost of us. I would say that in the future, for the situation of semi-submersibles will definitely have this stable increase of this profitability, but it's not like too significant. I would not have the confidence to say that.

For the first question you answered by Ms. Chong. Thank you so much for this question. Indeed, you have asked about this oilfield technology development and the overseas development of the market. Indeed we have already said in the performance report before. In 2021 our revenue has reached RMB 15 billion for this technology part up by 13% compared with 2020. It thanks to our R&D, our investment, our preparation of the reserve and the increase of the production. Indeed we have seen this steady growth of that. We think it would also have better confirmation of the technology. We have seen record high in history for both revenue and profit. For overseas markets, we have invested more in technology R&D and exploration.

For example, for our high temperature, high pressure slurry and the cementing in Middle East, and helping to solve this world-class problem of cracking this soft gypsum layer. In Southeast Asia, we have also got this land cementing and drilling and completion fluid project. We also have self-invested our own Middle East ones and our own self-invested logging device MUL has successfully launched its development in Middle East market. We also have entered the American land drilling and completion fluid service market and successfully obtained service orders. For Uganda, we also have locked the future workloads in Africa. I believe these performances will definitely be shown in the future.

由我来回答您的第二个问题。总体上来讲,公司在去年修订了公司未来一段时间的发展战略。那么一体化战略作为公司整合各个业务板块,和各个业务板块内部整合自身的各个业务链条的一种战略,被提到了重要日程。那么经过一年多的实施,我们总体上感觉目前有这么两个变化。第一个,在主要的板块内部,大家一体化的意识越来越浓,而且开始了部分专业的转型步伐。比如说像我们的物探板块,以前它是着重大型装备出租的业务特点,那么现在开始逐步把出租设备采集做出了比较重要的转变,从开始设计、采集、处理、解释一条龙的服务。那么因为这种转变,它也创造出了很多新型的市场,尤其是以前不叫市场的市场,被物探事业部挖掘出来了。另外一个,像油田技术事业部和油田化学事业部,他们两个都着重稳定,以客户的需求为出发点,把客户的问题作为自身专业解决的方向,从研发、应用、试验,然后对现有的技术体系修改,做成了一条龙的,从客户的问题到自身的科研体系的调整,也做出了这种一体化的安排。应该说公司这种一体化的响应方式,加快了市场反应速度。可以说在国外和国内最近都有比较好的市场斩获,虽然额度不大,但是体现了一定的技术发展方向,说明我们的努力是对的。另外一方面,像油田生产,它的每一个技术都很有特点,但是每一个技术在对外应用的时候,都不一定意味着很大的销售额或者利润额度。但是它利用提高采收率的技术,比较有行业的特点,给了作业者或者客户一个不同的选择,从而带动了公司整体业务链条进入了客户的市场。应该说它单个技术的回报不是特别高,但是对公司整体业务的带动作用非常强。另外,就是公司各个业务的一体化,目前应该说显示出来了比较旺盛的生命力。在我们去年初步研讨的时候,大家形成共识,到目前为止,也就半年多的时间,总的基数我不提了,绝对的数量也不提了。那么应该说这个一体化的市场增长了,至少是30%到50%的额度。我们不是说签的合同量和工作量,就是目前在谈的和已经进入合同签审的总的合同量,应该说一体化还是顺应了目前传统能源逐步退出能量供应市场的轨道,在比较恰当的时机,用比较合适的方法,抓住了客户多元化的需求趋势。谢谢。

I will answer the second question. Last year we have a revision to the technology and the strategy of the overall company. We have adopted this overall integration strategy, and we have integrated all the business units and within each of the individual business units, we also have integrated all the workflow and the work line. For the past time over one year, we have implemented that and we have already seen some great progress. There are several changes. For example, for our main business integration, take this Geophysical Services as an example. Previously we mainly do this leasing of the equipment and devices, but now we have changed and included the one-stop of design to acquisition to the interpretation of all these. We have also seized the markets.

This is the opportunity that previously it was not even considered an opportunity or a market, and it is unmatched by our BU of geophysical survey. Now let's talk about oilfield technology and chemical development. We have based on the demand of the customers from R&D to the implementation to experimentation and to the revision of the technology systems. We have done a complete service of that. Indeed, for this, we have seen that the market has also given us a very good response because we have rapidly reacted to that, and it also has given us positive feedback in a fast way. I have to say that this both domestically and overseas market has reacted like that, although the feedback and return is not that significant, it just have proved our effort is in the right direction.

For the oil field service technology aspect, every technology has its own features, so maybe you wouldn't say that every technology would have a big sales or with a significant amount of profits. However, when we are approaching different customers, we could offer them a diversity and portfolio of different technologies. It would offer them more opportunity to choose from us. It also cements our position in the market. So I wouldn't say that the return of a single technology is too much. However, it's just to boost our overall positioning and the power in the market and cementing and stabilizing our business, pleasing our customers at the same time. So the overall business unit of integration has also seen great vigor and vitality.

In the past half year, I wouldn't mention any specific absolute number or the base of the starting line. I would just say, not the contract that has been signed, the contract that is being negotiated and a contract is being processed and audited. It's already increased by over 30%-50%. We have followed the trend of exiting the traditional markets, but taking a more diversified and scattered approach to satisfy the market, and we have seized the moment. Thank you. 谢谢穆先生。首先您的问题很专业,看来对我们公司是比较了解的。那么关于公司一些关键技术的研发和国产化应用,目前应该说到了一个比较新的层面,到了另外一个平台了。那么总体上来讲,我们跟世界上这个三大油服相比,和顶尖的我们还是有一定的差距的。那么这个差距不是尖端技术的差距,总体上来讲,我们还需要一定的系列化的产品,需要一定的时间来补足。那么这个,应该说技术上的障碍已经克服了。给我们点时间,大概有这么三到五年的时间,我们讲总体的这个技术系列,应该会,我们有这个信心,和我们的前部企业比肩而行。那么另外一个,就是目前总体上来讲,我们也已经制定了尖端或者是高端定向井、侧井的质量升级计划。目前我们的一次入井成功率,相对来说到了一个很高的层次,达到了90.2%。那么我们争取在未来两到三年之内,也能达到这个行业的最高水平,或者是平均以上的水平,我们还是有信心的。目前这个实施计划也已经制定出来。第三个,是关于一些关键国产设备的参数情况。总体上来讲,部分参数我们是好于国际同行的,有一些参数已经到了国际上比肩一流,或者是比较顶级的水平。那么其中也有一些参数,我们还是稍逊一筹。处在参差不齐、各有所长、也各有所短的时候,我们和国际同行也有一定的交流,一些好的装备,他们也在采购油服的产品,我们的产品,尤其是一些软件产品,我们也在和国外的同行共享平台。我想大家有很多合作的地方,这恰恰也说明了我们互相之间的技术水平在逐步拉近,或者是正在靠齐,那这是我个人的一个判断。当然行业里边每个人都会有每个人的判断,这是我们自己看自己吧。那么应该说从技术板块来讲,这几年对公司的产值、收入贡献一直是呈现一个上升的状况。我们公司管理层的意愿,也是想一直维持这种状况。那么在国内市场初步达到一个占支配地位的市场占有之后,我们现在已经着手开拓国际市场,就是想让这种技术板块的辐射作用和技术投资的投入产出不断增大它的回报作用,让它最大化,让这个边际效应辐射的面越广。虽然会到国际市场上有一些价格上的,或者是需求上的不同层面的竞争,但是我们有信心,技术板块持续不断地给公司贡献更大的收入或者产值,助力公司未来的业务增长和绩效增长。这是我的第一个问题,谢谢。

For the R&D and the domestic application of this self-developed technology, I have to say that there is still some gaps compared with the top three oilfield service companies in the world. I'm saying that compared with the top-notch technology, I'm not saying that the top-notch technology still having some gap or something, but generally speaking, there's still some gap compared with the top.

We have series of products that will still take time to develop, and I have the confidence that if you give us like three to five years of the time, we will definitely compensate and fill the gap. For the technology aspect, I am confident that we could be as good as the top in the future. For this current examples like our directional well, our logging, we are focusing on the improvement of the quality.

For our one-time success rate now is already as high as 90.2%. I think that in the next two to three years, we are confident that we will at least reach this above average level of this entire market or even as good as this top-notch high quality in this competitive market. The next thing is for the parameters of the different devices and the equipment you have just mentioned.

I have to say that part of the parameters we are better than our international competitors, and parts are still not that good. With this kind of situation of parts being very good, part being not that good, we are still trying to develop and we have also cooperated and communicated with certain competitors and they are even acquiring and purchasing some products from us. For the software platform, we are also sharing this with our international counterparts. I think we are definitely getting close to the top-notch and making the gap smaller. 关于第二个问题,关于风电业务,是去年我们通过各种方法进入了新能源产业,那么进入新能源第一个措施,就是从风电业务开始。总体上来讲,风电业务,目前我们的判断,是一个相对成熟的业务,无论是从技术开发、加工制造、生产运维,应该说,在国内,都是一个相对技术门槛不太高的市场。那么我们进入风电业务,主要是考虑我们以后的大型装备和风电的海上运维、安装,有一个协同作用。得益于中海油服这么多年在海上的作业情况,对工程安装、天气、海况把握得比较准确。那么进入海上的运维,应该说门槛是比较低的,尤其是相对一些陆上企业来讲,没有这个下海经验,我们的经验是比较可靠的。从后来的作业,我们也得到了进一步的验证。无论是目前的安装效率,还有安装速度,都是优于其他一些同类型的企业的。那么对于风电业务,我们以后还是着重海上安装支持,海上的运维,不仅仅是支持性的平台,像我们船舶,以后也会谋求这种差异化的发展,把这种比较难、作业集中工作量比较大、适合中海油服目前实力和水平的业务,都做一些尝试。去年除了我们安装上尝试之外,实际上我们船舶也有所尝试。应该说这种尝试,在目前公司介入新能源和风电的情况下,给公司开了一个好头,我们也尝到了甜头。谢谢。

Thanks to our large scale devices and our offshore experiences, for the operation and maintenance of these is actually can be done in a synergy with our COSL traditional business. Thanks to COSL's years of offshore and on-sea operations experiences, I would say that we have a very good understanding and knowledge about the safety, the weather, the condition of the sea.

For 2022, we will still carry out this cost control measures we have started last year, and we all know that because of the overall environment, the cost control is under huge pressure, but we believe the control of the cost is a very significant method of the improvement of our competitiveness. Last year we have adopted this cost leadership strategy, and we have done this systematic, structured and long- term cost reduction and improvement of the performance strategy. We also have seen some delightful results.

We also will carry out this lean management of cost in this year. Technological innovation is one way for us to lower the cost. For example, the replacement of our self research and developed material and devices, and also the lean management of the subcontracting. These are all what we will do in 2022. The next one is about the potential catching and the reducing of the cost of procurement. This is what we will also focus on, and we hope that we would vigorously promote this annual associate orders, cross-category centralized procurement, open bidding cost management, etc. The number three is the strategic partnership.

We have already seen good results. However, there is still big room of that, and we will further categorize and develop our upstream and downstream synergy to try to influence the whole industry and supply chain more, or to raise our voice and have more cost reduction. We also will focus on this fixed of offer and fixed amount of expenditure projects, and also would have this integrated well auditing for its expenditure. We have already seen a quite good management result in the integrated well management in Middle East area. We are confident that in 2022, we will expand such success, for example, and practice and have the confidence that it would also have further success in overseas markets.

The 2022 strategies will still be the tapping of the potential and reducing of the cost of procurement, and also the improvement of technology. 由我来回答您的第二个问题。目前公司进入的新业务,尤其是新能源业务,风电是一个典型的代表。总体上,因为未来进入什么新业务,公司目前也是在摸索和探索当中,但是总体上有这么几条。第一个是立足公司现有的业务,可以低成本辐射进入的,我们就低成本进入。应该说目前公司手头还是有一些新业务的,像一些生产期间的油水处理,还有生产期间的一些泵类的业务,都不太成规模。但是随着公司不断的发展,尤其是相关技术的进步,加上公司一体化的模式,接触到的客户多元化的需求,公司认为未来通过现有的实力,低成本进入相关业务,这是非常可行,而且也是比较现实的思路。目前我们已经开始在尝试探索,在成熟的业务推介给用户的时候,我们把一些目前公司手头开发出来的业务,在合适地推出去。另外第二个考虑,就是和公司目前的业务能够产生协同的业务,尤其像这种风电业务,这个和公司的大型装备、海上维修,协同性是比较高的。我们也希望通过加强设备的管理利用,通过较低的技术门槛,利用公司已经形成的比较高的装备维护、保养和操作经验的壁垒,能够以较低的成本进入到新能源业务。同时,公司也在考虑未来的最终能源,像中间能源LNG,公司已经有所动作了,造了十二条LNG船,今年都会相继投产。总体上来讲,目前效果是不错的,但是因为最近天然气价格上涨得比原油价格上涨得快,所以现在遭遇了一些用户方面的成本上的考虑。但是我们想作为中间的这种阶段性能源,LNG船是值得努力和尝试的。除了LNG以外,最终的清洁能源,公司目前也希望成立相应的所属机构,开始摸索探索。这一方面是为公司比较大型的装备寻找出路,不至于在世界各地新能源方兴未艾,有了替代品之后,公司大型装备的能源消耗有一种落后的氛围,我们还是想提前有所谋划,适应各区域新能源发展的趋势要求。另外一方面,结合公司目前的技术特长,进入一些新能源领域,这个也是公司目前在考虑的。谢谢。

The second thing is about synergy. For example, for wind industry, we are utilizing our large scale devices to do this maintenance and installation for this wind businesses. You can also see that we could utilize our management advantage and the low threshold of entering the other market to have the synergy and collaboration effects to also guarantee the good turnover and the return of our investment and resources. In the future, we also will focus on this new energy. For example, like R&D as the new energy, we have already developed the 12 vessels for that. We because of the faster speed of the price increase of natural gas compared with oil, we have already seen some problems, but we believe development of those boats and vessels is definitely worth a try.

Except for R&D, we also have explored some other resources for two concerns. The first one is when most of the regions and markets in the world are seeking out a way out, and getting this restructuring of their energy mix, we hope that we could do this positioning and research in advance, and we will not be left behind when the day finally comes. The second thing is actually we hope to utilize our current technology and then try to make the development and influence as early as possible. Thank you.
