It seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating in the infrastructure sector which include transportation, energy, and utility sectors. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap companies. It seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P Emerging Markets Infrastructure Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. The fund was formerly known as iShares II Public Limited Company - iShares Emerging Market Infrastructure UCITS ETF. iShares EM Infrastructure UCITS ETF was formed on February 15, 2008 and is domiciled in Ireland.
