The fund invests in the public equity markets of emerging countries across the globe. It invests directly and through derivatives in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies. It invests in the stocks of companies which are consistent with specific values based criteria such as religious beliefs, moral standards or ethical views, and targets companies with high ESG ratings relative to their sector peers. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI Emerging Markets SRI 5% Issuer Capped Index (Net Return), by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. UBS MSCI EM Socially Responsible UCITS ETF was formed on September 4, 2014 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
