The fund uses derivatives such as swap agreements and futures contract to invest in commodities such as WTI crude oil, brent crude oil, heating oil, RBOB gasoline, natural gas, aluminium, copper, zinc, gold, silver, wheat, corn, soybean, and sugar. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Deutsche Bank Liquid Commodity Index-Optimum Yield Balanced Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology. The fund was formerly known as Xtrackers - DBLCI Commodity Optimum Yield Swap UCITS ETF. Xtrackers Bloomberg Commodity ex-Agriculture & Livestock Swap UCITS ETF was formed on June 29, 2007 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
