The Premier Sugar Mills & Distillery Company Limited, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the manufacture and sale of white sugar and spirit in Pakistan and internationally.
The company operates through two segments, Sugar and Ethanol. It is also involved in manufacture, production, refining, preparation, import, export, sale, and dealing in sugar, sugarcane, sugar beets, gur, jaggery, molasses, syrups and melada, bagasse, and alcohol and by-products; manufacture of food products made from cereals, fruits, vegetables, seeds, and oils; and manufacture of drugs and medicines.
In addition, the company manufactures starch and yeast flour; strawboards and paper; and plants, cultivates, produces, and raises sugarcane, maize, sugar beets, seeds, and other agricultural crops.
Further, it engages in purchase, mortgage, lease, and exchange of moveable or immovable property, patents, inventions licenses, secret formula or processes, and rights or privileges to construct, erect, manage, improve, alter, extend, and demolish or reconstruct buildings and machineries; and sale and purchase of raw sugar, molasses cereals, fruits and vegetables, seeds, oil, mill stores, stocks, spare machinery, and other materials.
