The Premier Sugar Mills & Distillery Company Limited, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells white sugar and spirits in Pakistan and internationally.
The company operates through two segments, Sugar and Ethanol. It is also involved in manufacture, production, refining, preparation, import, export, sale, and dealing in sugar, sugarcane, sugar beets, gur, jaggery, molasses, syrups and melada, bagasse, and alcohol and by-products; manufacture of food products made from cereals, fruits, vegetables, seeds, and oils, etc.; and manufacture chemicals to prepare drugs and medicines.
In addition, the company offers ethanol, starch and yeast flour, straw-boards, and paper products; and plants, cultivates, produces, and raises sugarcane, maize, sugar beets, seeds, and other agricultural crops.
Further, it engages in purchase, mortgage, lease, and exchange of moveable or immovable property, patents, inventions licenses, secret formula or processes, and rights or privileges to construct, erect, manage, improve, alter, extend, and demolish or reconstruct buildings and machineries; sale and purchase of sugar, sugarcane, raw sugar, gur, molasses cereals, fruits and vegetables, seeds, oil, mill stores, stocks, spare machinery, and other materials; and purchase and acquire seeds and agricultural products for the production of sugar and its by-products.
The company exports its products to Spain, Indonesia, Singapore, Switzerland, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and the United Arab Emirates.
