GoviEx Uranium Inc., a mineral resources company, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of uranium properties in Africa.

The company’s principal properties include the 80% owned Madaouela project located in north-central Niger; and the 100% owned Muntanga project with three contiguous mining permits covering an area of 1,225.9 km² located to the south of Lusaka, Zambia.

It also holds 100% interests in the Falea project with three exploration licenses located in Mali. The company was formerly known as Govi High Power Exploration Inc. and changed its name to GoviEx Uranium Inc. in September 2008.

GoviEx Uranium Inc. was incorporated in 2006 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
