It offers mobile money, payment services, and international remittances; mobile payments, such as card, bank, merchant, payroll, and bulk payments, as well as loans under EcoCash brand; digital banking under the Steward Bank brand; funeral and life assurance, accident and hospital insurance, and educational insurance under EcoSure brand; mobile phone-based vehicle insurance under the Moovah brand; and health insurance under the Maisha Health Fund brand.
The company also provides logistics services for transportation of goods and services, including agricultural produce, people, water, e-commerce, healthcare, and education space under the VAYA Logistics brand; and emergency medical services under the MARS brand.
In addition, it operates Maisha Medik, a digital personal health assistant application that provides medical information and connects patients, doctors, laboratories, dentists, pharmacists, clinics, hospitals, and other health service providers on an integrated mobile platform; VAYA Digital Farmer, a mobile farming platform the offers solutions on mechanization, warehousing and logistics, fragmented markets, low yield, and post-harvest losses to farmers; VAYA Mobility, a ride hailing platform; VAYA Services platforms that provides tools and technologies needed to build IoT solutions and augmented reality (AR) experiences; and Akello, an education services platform.
The company was formerly known as Cassava Smartech Zimbabwe Limited and changed its name to EcoCash Holdings Zimbabwe Limited in February 2022.
