Company Description
AdvEn is engaged in research, development and commercialization of advanced super activated carbon ("ASAC") and dry electrode super adhesive coating (“ESAC”) technologies derived from refinery residues and heavy asphaltenes (together “Residues”) – the non-volatile components of crude oil.
Our products are used for various industrial and commercial applications with improved technical performance compared to other products currently available on the global market.
We convert Residues into carbon-based products using a proprietary non-combustible process, thereby diverting them from traditional waste streams such as fuel oil manufacturing, coking for steel and other heavy greenhouse gas emitting uses.
The plant, located in Nisku, Alberta, is expected to initially produce up to 400 metric tons per year.
ASAC is primarily used in super capacitor manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, liquid and air purification, environmental protection and food and beverage production.
