Welcome to the HCW Biologics Incorporated 2025 Annual Stockholder Meeting.
I would like to note that during Dr. Wong's opening remarks, we may make forward-looking statements regarding future events which involve certain risks and uncertainties. Such statements are only predictions, and actual events or results could differ materially from those predictions due to a number of risks and uncertainties. I refer you to the documents the company files from time to time with the SEC, specifically the company's most recently filed annual report on Form 10-K, which was filed on March 28th, 2025, and its most recently filed quarterly report on Form 10-Q, which was filed on May 15th, 2025. These documents contain and identify important factors that could cause actual results to differ materially from those contained in our projections or forward-looking statements. Dr. Wong, our Founder and Chief Executive Officer, will be making opening remarks. Dr. Wong.
Good morning. This is Hing Wong, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of HCW Biologics. I also have the privilege of being the largest shareholder as well as a member of HCW Board of Directors. I would like to thank our stockholder for your continuous support. Since we met in March at the special meeting of stockholders, we complete several transactions which help us on our way to complete compliance with Nasdaq listing rules. We have required Nasdaq provides us with a formal compliance determination. This accomplishment was made possible by three major transactions we had completed since we last met. First, we raised $5.5 million to fund the development activity for our immunotherapeutics compounds. Second, we extinguished $6.6 million of debt by converting this debt to equity. Third, we formalized our relationship with WY Biotech after they accept our technology report.
With this acceptance, the company would recognize $7 million of revenue in the second quarter of 2025. We will leverage the success we have made in securing financings to provide funding our ambitious clinical development plan. After many months of work to lay out multiple clinical sites at the leading institute, we are preparing to initiate a clinical trial to evaluate HCW9302 in an autoimmune disease in a multi-center trial. We are close to opening two major clinical sites in the next few weeks, and we anticipate dosing our first patient shortly after that. Our new round of financing will provide funding for critical study to continue developing new product candidates. We have construct using our second-generation drug discovery and development platform, we call the TRBC platform technology. We have so far advanced over 50 different compounds using this platform, and we are narrowing this down to most promising compounds.
Our development plans including select a few molecules for internal development and identify those molecules that will be developed through business development programs. The TRBC platform technology is so versatile, it enable us to create multiple classes of immunotherapeutic compounds. The class 1 is the Multi-Functional Immune Cell simulator. One of these molecule is HCW11006 and was licensed to WY Biotech. We hope to be able to take advantage of our rights to get the market for the Americans after a phase I clinical trial is complete at no cost. This is a provision of our license. The class 2 is a second-generation immune checkpoint inhibitor, which focus on addressing the challenge of the checkpoint inhibitors such as KEYTRUDA. Finally, the class 3 is a Multi-Specific Targeting fusion and Enhanced Immune Cell engager.
We have identified group of compounds in the class 3 as drug candidates to be developed through business development programs. The T-cell engager have revolutionized the immunotherapeutic approach against cancer, but they have difficulty and expensive clinical trial that require a well-capitalized big pharmaceutical company. Currently, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration have licensed 11 T-cell engager for hematologic and solid tumors. Now we are very excited that we report that our proprietary TRBC program discover and able to create potentially highly effective T-cell engagers against difficult and hard to treat solid tumors such as pancreatic cancer.
I'm honored to be invited to present our innovative TRBC technology and the T-cell engager build based on this technology to a renowned group of experts who specialize in pancreatic cancer development and treatment as part of the Congregation Beth Israel organized by the HonorHealth in Scottsdale, Arizona on June 27, 2025. HonorHealth is a national center of excellence for the treatment of pancreatic cancer and a leading research institute in this disease. I would like to turn the meeting over to Scott Garrett, the Chairman of HCW Biologics and also of directors. Scott.
