Why is your data different than the data on another finance site?

Like other finance platforms, we get our data from third-party data providers.

Because there are hundreds of thousands of stocks and funds in the world, it is impossible to gather all this data manually.

For this reason, data providers need to partly rely on automated methods to gather all the data.

Different data providers may use different definitions or collection methods, causing there to be differences in some data points between finance sites.

These are often not actual data errors, but simply due to differences in methodology or the calculation formulas used.

That said, if you think we have an inaccuracy somewhere, please let us know. We review each and every report of a data error manually and work with our data providers to get it fixed as soon as possible.
