How long does it take to update financials after earnings are released?

Our primary data providers for financial data update financials very quickly after earnings are released:
- Fiscal AI: Within minutes after an earnings release, using data from the press release.
- S&P Global: Usually within 1-3 hours after earnings release, also with data from the press release.
When data is not available in the earnings press release, which often happens with quarterly cash flow data, then this will be updated once the company releases its official financial statements (like the 10-Q and 10-K SEC Filings). This can take a few days after earnings, up to a few weeks in rare cases.
