About AiDash
AiDash is an enterprise software company that uses satellite imagery and AI to help electric utilities and other infrastructure operators inspect and manage their networks remotely. Its core product, the Intelligent Vegetation Management System, analyzes high-resolution satellite images to show utilities where trees and vegetation threaten power lines. Crews can then be sent to the highest-risk spots first instead of trimming on a fixed schedule. The platform has since expanded into storm outage prediction, wildfire ignition risk and asset inspection, which the company positions as a prevention-first approach to grid resilience. AiDash makes money by selling subscriptions to its software and serves more than 140 utilities across North America, the UK and Europe. In July 2026 Schneider Electric agreed to acquire about 90% of AiDash in an all-cash deal with an implied enterprise value of $350 million, with closing still subject to regulatory approvals.
