About Armadin
Armadin is a cybersecurity company that uses autonomous AI agents to attack its customers' own networks the way a skilled hacker would, so that weaknesses can be found and fixed before real adversaries exploit them. Its platform, Armadin Red, deploys a swarm of specialized agents that chain individually minor weaknesses into complete attack paths, from the external perimeter through lateral movement to full cloud compromise. It runs continuously and is pitched as a replacement for periodic penetration tests and vulnerability scanners. Armadin makes money by selling the platform to large enterprises and government agencies, both directly and through partnerships with CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks' Unit 42. The company is led by CEO Kevin Mandia, who founded the incident response firm Mandiant and sold it to Google for $5.4 billion in 2022.
