About CloudTrucks

CloudTrucks is a virtual trucking carrier that gives independent owner-operators and small fleets a single app for booking loads, getting paid, buying fuel and staying compliant. Drivers lease onto CloudTrucks' federal authority so the company can handle insurance, IFTA filing and back-office work while they keep choosing their own loads. It makes money by charging an 18% lease-on and insurance fee on each load, which it says is well below the 30-35% taken by most mega-carriers. Shippers can also move freight through CloudTrucks Exchange, a brokerage CloudTrucks built after buying Shipwell's brokerage arm in 2024.
