About Eat Just

Eat Just is a food technology company best known for Just Egg, a liquid egg substitute made from mung bean protein and sold in US supermarkets, convenience stores and foodservice outlets. The company extracts and functionalizes plant proteins at its own facilities, including a protein plant in Appleton, Minnesota, and has extended the same mung bean base into the Just One protein powder and, since 2025, a plant-based chicken line called Just Meat. It also runs GOOD Meat, the cultivated-meat division that in 2020 became the first in the world cleared to sell meat grown from animal cells, though that program is now a small, long-term research effort. Eat Just makes money selling packaged products through retail and foodservice partners, and through manufacturing and distribution deals such as the exclusive European rights it granted to the Vegan Food Group in 2025.
