About Genius AI

Genius AI is a software company that helps in-person service businesses run their day-to-day operations. It was known as GlossGenius until July 2026, and GlossGenius is still the name of its flagship product for salons, spas, med spas and wellness studios. The platform bundles online booking, embedded payment processing, marketing and client management into one subscription app. Genius AI makes money by charging a monthly subscription and by taking a share of the payment volume it processes for its customers. After a 2026 rebrand and Series D round, the company is adding AI products that aim to run back-office work on their own, such as filling calendars, processing payments and answering client messages, for the roughly 125,000 businesses on the platform.
