Harness is a software delivery platform that uses AI to automate the parts of the software development lifecycle that come after code is written. Its products cover continuous integration and continuous delivery, feature flags, security testing, chaos engineering and cloud cost management. The platform is built around Harness AI and a Software Delivery Knowledge Graph that automate testing, deployment and governance so engineering teams can ship software faster. Harness makes money by selling subscriptions to its platform, mainly to enterprises and large technology companies. It was founded by Jyoti Bansal, who previously built AppDynamics and sold it to Cisco for $3.7 billion, along with former Apple engineer Rishi Singh.
