About Hubble Network
Hubble Network is a satellite connectivity company that lets standard Bluetooth Low Energy devices communicate directly with satellites in low Earth orbit. Instead of requiring a dedicated satellite modem or cellular hardware, a device uses the same 2.4 GHz Bluetooth radio it already has to send small bursts of location and sensor data to a passing satellite, after a firmware update and integration of the company's software development kit. The system pairs this satellite network with a terrestrial network of more than 100 million gateways, giving asset trackers, sensors and other connected products global coverage at a fraction of the cost of dedicated satellite or cellular hardware. Hubble makes money by charging enterprises for connectivity and data services across markets such as logistics, supply chain, infrastructure, agriculture and defense. The company was co-founded by Alex Haro, who previously co-founded the family location-sharing app Life360.
