About Huntress
Huntress is a cybersecurity company that provides a managed security platform for small and mid-sized businesses and the managed service providers that support them. Its products include managed endpoint detection and response, identity threat detection and response, security information and event management and security awareness training. These are backed by a 24/7 security operations center staffed by human analysts who investigate threats and remediate attacks. Huntress makes money by selling subscriptions to its platform, priced per protected endpoint or identity. It sells primarily through managed service providers and value-added resellers as well as directly to internal IT teams. The company was founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators Kyle Hanslovan, Chris Bisnett and John Ferrell. It is headquartered in Columbia, Maryland.
