About Kavak

Kavak is a Mexican online platform for buying and selling used cars in Latin America and the Middle East. The company buys vehicles directly from owners, reconditions them at its own centers and resells them online and through physical hubs with a certification, warranty and return period. It makes money on the spread between what it pays for a car and what it sells it for, plus financing, insurance and servicing sold alongside each vehicle. Its lending arm Kuna Capital finances a large share of purchases on the platform and has originated more than $1 billion in customer loans.
