About Maven Robotics
Maven Robotics is a robotics company that builds general-purpose robots for industrial logistics and manufacturing work. Its first system is a wheeled, dual-arm mobile manipulator that moves around a facility and uses vacuum grippers to pick and arrange boxes, starting with mixed-case palletizing and tote handling in warehouses and distribution centers. The company sells this as a full stack of hardware, software and physical AI, deploying the robots into customer sites and training them on data gathered from live operation so they can take on more complex material handling over time. Maven makes money by putting its robots into customer facilities to automate specific industrial workflows end to end. It was founded in 2024 by brothers Hamza and Khalid Derbas, and its team is drawn from self-driving and hardware programs at companies such as Apple, Tesla and Cruise.
