About Medallion
Medallion is a healthcare software company that automates the administrative work required to get clinicians ready to see patients. Its platform handles provider credentialing, state license applications and renewals, payer enrollment, privileging and ongoing compliance monitoring, using AI agents overseen by credentialing specialists. Medallion makes money by charging healthcare organizations fees based on the number of providers they manage on the platform. Its customers include health systems, health plans, provider groups and digital health companies. In 2025 the company launched CredAlliance, a national credentialing clearinghouse that verifies a provider once and shares the results across participating health plans.
