About Prove
Prove is a digital identity company that helps banks, fintechs, marketplaces and other businesses verify people, authenticate returning users and stop fraud. It uses phone, device and telecom signals rather than passwords, document scans or selfies. The Prove Identity Platform includes Prove Pre-Fill, which auto-fills applications with verified identity data, plus unified authentication, human-assurance checks and tools for verifying AI agents. Prove makes money by selling these identity APIs and platform services to enterprises, including 19 of the top 20 U.S. banks. Prove was originally named Payfone before rebranding in 2020.
