About Replit
Replit is an AI-powered software creation platform that lets people build, run and deploy applications directly in the browser without having to set up a local development environment. Its AI Agent turns plain-language prompts into working apps and websites, and the platform bundles an online code editor, hosting, databases and collaboration tools. Replit makes money through paid subscriptions such as its Replit Core plan and through usage-based fees for AI agent runs and cloud deployment. The company was founded in 2016 by Amjad Masad, Faris Masad and Haya Odeh and is headquartered in Foster City, California.
