Rhoda AI is a robotics company building foundation models that let robots operate autonomously in real-world industrial settings. Its core technology is the Direct Video Action model, which is pre-trained on internet-scale video and then post-trained on a small amount of robot data so the system can predict how a scene will change and turn those predictions into physical actions in a continuous closed loop. Rhoda packages this intelligence into a platform called FutureVision and applies it to manufacturing, logistics, automotive and ecommerce tasks such as decanting heavy parts and processing returns. The company expects to make money by deploying its own robot systems with customers and over time licensing FutureVision to other robot makers across different hardware platforms. Rhoda was founded in 2024 by Jagdeep Singh, Eric Chan, Gordon Wetzstein, Andrew Wooten and Changan Chen, and it is headquartered in Palo Alto, California.
