About Semios
Semios is a Canadian agricultural technology company that sells on-farm tools for weather, pest and irrigation management to growers of tree fruit, nuts and other permanent crops. It started with pheromone mating disruption and now also monitors climate, disease, frost and plant stress through a network of IoT sensors. A field-services team installs and maintains the hardware. The Semios Group also includes the Agworld farm-management platform. Semios makes money by charging growers a subscription for the sensors, pest-control dispensers and software rather than selling the equipment outright.
