About Tailscale
Tailscale is a Canadian cybersecurity company that builds a mesh VPN on the WireGuard protocol. The software connects laptops, servers, containers and other devices into a private overlay network. It uses a team's existing identity provider instead of IP addresses and sets up without traditional VPN hardware. Developers, IT and security teams use it for zero-trust access across clouds, on-prem systems and remote machines. Tailscale makes money by charging per-user seat subscriptions on Standard, Premium and Enterprise plans. A free Personal plan covers up to six users.
