About The Boring Company
The Boring Company is a tunneling company that builds transportation, utility and freight tunnels. Its main product is Loop, an underground transit system in which electric vehicles carry passengers directly to their destination with no intermediate stops. The company operates the Vegas Loop in Las Vegas and is digging new tunnels in Nashville and Dubai using Prufrock, its own tunnel boring machine. It makes money from contracts to build tunnels and stations and from passenger fares on its Loop systems. The company was founded by Elon Musk, who also leads Tesla and SpaceX.
