About Thoropass
Thoropass is an information security compliance and audit company. Its Audit Lifecycle Platform pulls evidence automatically out of a customer's cloud and SaaS systems and uses AI to check that evidence before an auditor sees it, across more than 30 frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA and HITRUST. Unlike compliance software vendors that hand customers to a third party for the audit itself, Thoropass runs the audit in house through Laika Compliance, LLC, a licensed CPA firm registered with the AICPA that operates as Thoropass Assurance. It makes money from annual subscriptions to the platform and from fees for the audits, penetration tests and vulnerability scans its own experts perform. The audit module is also sold on its own to companies that already run another GRC tool.
