About Vinci
Vinci is an AI software company that simulates how chips and other hardware will physically behave while they are still being designed. Its foundation model for physics combines AI with GPU-native physics kernels to predict effects such as heat flow and the warping of chip packages at full manufacturing resolution. The model works on new designs without being trained on customer data. The company says it matches the accuracy of traditional finite element analysis tools in a fraction of the time. Vinci makes money by selling its simulation platform as enterprise software to semiconductor and electronics companies. It started with thermal simulation for chips and plans to expand into fluid flow, vibration and electromagnetics, putting it in competition with Cadence and Synopsys.
