About Whatnot
Whatnot is a live shopping marketplace where sellers host real-time video auctions and buyers bid on items during the stream. The platform started with collectibles like trading cards and Funko Pops and has expanded into sneakers, fashion, beauty, electronics and other categories. Whatnot makes money by charging sellers a commission on each sale plus payment processing fees. It is the largest livestream shopping platform in the US, UK and Europe, with more than $6 billion worth of goods sold on the platform in 2025.
