iShares S&P 500 EUR Hedged UCITS ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by BlackRock Asset Management Ireland Limited. It is managed by BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited. The fund invests in the public equity markets of the United States. It invests directly and through derivatives such as forward contracts in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap companies, the returns being hedged to Euro. It seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P 500 Euro Hedged Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. The fund was formerly known as iShares V Public Limited Company - iShares S&P 500 Monthly EUR Hedged. iShares S&P 500 EUR Hedged UCITS ETF was formed on September 30, 2010 and is domiciled in Ireland.
