50 meters below that resource, and we got 100 meters at 1.1 grams per ton that you can see there. Importantly, some high grade within that at around 36 meters at 1.9, just under 2 grams per ton. We're doing some more deeper drilling, and you'll see the results from that over the next month or so there. Within our PFS that we published, we get about 1 million ounces in this pit at a strip ratio of around 3 just over 3:1. As I said, simple metallurgy, +90% recoveries in the oxide transitional and fresh, albeit we've modeled it at about 87% recoveries there. That's supplemented with these high-grade deposits along this shear zone. What you see here is some IP that we've undertaken over the last 12 months, which has really unlocked the exploration.
You can see just down in the left-hand corner, the Woulo Woulo deposit sitting there, which sits on a splay coming off this shear zone we call the Afema Shear. Along that shear zone, we have 35 km of strike within our project area. It's not one single shear, it's multiple shears across about 2 km -3 km of width. This IP survey really shows the controlling structure of our deposits that we have along there. We have the Anuiri deposit in the south, sitting on the footwall of a sandstone unit that you can see sort of in silver blue there. We have the Jonction, and that's not drilled for several kilometers along strike. That contacts the north, which we're drilling now. In fact, we expect to find more Anuiri-type deposits as we drill that along strike.
On the hanging wall, on the other side of that contact, we have the Jonction deposit, sitting about five kilometers to the north. Once again, that contact is not drilled to the south for several kilometers, and we expect to find more Jonction-type deposits. We have a third contact against that purple unit there, which is a shale unit, which we call the Asupiri structure. We've drilled several kilometers of mineralization, but we have several kilometers still to drill. To put it into perspective, this Jonction deposit is the only deposit in our project that's been drilled beneath 250 meters. There's just a handful of holes that you can see in that long section there beneath 250 meters.
You see the grades and the continuity of the grade, that true width of about 15 meters on this high-grade shoot going about 5 grams per ton. Unquestionably, this will go underground. It's quite steeply dipping and has good continuity of that high grade. Looking at our other deposit, just sitting five kilometers to the south at Jonction here. We've drilled this over a couple of kilometers of strike, but we've only drilled it really down to not much more than 200 meters. You can see the same concept at Jonction where you have this high-grade plunging shoot. Within the Anuiri deposit, we think we've identified three of those high-grade plunging shoots, but we've only drilled it down to really open-pittable depths. In fact, the open pits are just limited by drilling there.
We're doing some deeper drilling down plunge, high-grade drilling on that at the moment, you'll see results there. Unquestionably, the pit will go deeper, will also demonstrate that this will also go underground in the long term, as you see with the Jonction deposit. Sitting right next to that, just a kilometer away on a parallel structure with the Asupiri deposit here. You'll see more, we've been growing this. This resource was only 300,000 ounces this time last year. It's now 1.3 million ounces, there's a lot more growth to come on this. It's really only been drilled down to 150 meters. We're doing some extensional drilling at the moment, chasing these high-grade plunging shoots. You see this common story of these high-grade plunging shoots.
That IP survey that I showed you before really allows us to target those shoots now, which we didn't have the benefit of 12 months ago. We'll do a lot less drilling, continue to add similar ounces to what we've been adding there. You'll see some more results published at Asupiri shortly. Similar Begnapan, which once again sits along strike from Asupiri. All this sits within about a 5 km project radius. This is really where Asupiri was 12 months ago at around 300,000 ounces, we can see similar growth coming out of this as what we've drilled out at Asupiri over the next 12 months there. Unquestionably, each of our deposits will grow. Also, as I touched on before, we've only drilled one structure. We also have the inboard of the Sefwi Belt, where we have a number of anomalies.
This is gold-in-soil anomalies. That southern area has really yielded our 5 million ounce resource. The northern anomalies we haven't drilled yet. We're just starting to drill those. We expect to not only add ounces from extensional drilling, through new discoveries, which I'm sure we'll have over the medium term. Looking forward, we've moved very quickly over the last two years, as I said, I think the next year is the most exciting time for the company. We're just in the final throws on Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, which will be completed and submitted to the government later this year. We expect to have environmental approval by the end of the year, if not, the latest in the first quarter of 2027.
Everything that sits in our resource is already on a granted mining permit, which within Côte d'Ivoire, it's already a very streamlined permitting process, having a granted mining permit only just expedites that permitting process. Once our environmental approval is in hand, we're really ready to develop the project. We'll have a DFS in hand sort of around about April next year. We'll probably start early works, be looking to be starting proper construction work on the ground after the wet season, November next year. We're not losing sight of the resource growth potential of this. Whilst we're advancing the development of the project, you'll see that continued resource growth and continued drill results moving forward. Thanks for hanging around and listening to Turaco. It's more than just a story.
This will be a mine, and will be a very significant mine at over 200,000 ounces a year. Will be developed very soon, and it will be very profitable for Turaco. Thank you.
