Vanguard Australian Fixed Interest Index ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Vanguard Investments Australia Ltd. It invests in the fixed income markets of Australia. The fund invests in the Australian dollar denominated, fixed-rate government and corporate bonds with a maturity of less than 50 years. It invests in investment grade securities that are rated as between BBB- and AAA by S&P. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Bloomberg AusBond Composite 0+ Yr Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. Vanguard Australian Fixed Interest Index ETF was formed on June 6, 1997 and is domiciled in Australia.
