About VGB

Vanguard Australian Government Bond Index ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Vanguard Investments Australia Ltd. It invests in the fixed income markets of Australia. The fund invests in the Australian dollar denominated bonds issued by government, state government, and treasury corporations which are rated as AA or higher by S&P and has a maturity of less than 50 years. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Bloomberg AusBond Govt 0+ Yr Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. Vanguard Australian Government Bond Index ETF was formed on December 22, 2008 and is domiciled in Australia.
