It is managed by State Street Global Advisors Australia Limited. The fund invests in the public equity markets of developed countries across the globe excluding Australia. It invests directly and uses forward foreign exchange contracts to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies, the returns being hedged to Australian Dollar and with a minimum market capitalization of US$ 100 million. It seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P Developed ex Australia LargeMidCap AUD Hedged Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. SPDR S&P World ex Australia Carbon Control (Hedged) Fund was formed on November 14, 2012 and is domiciled in Australia.
