The fund invests in the fixed income markets of Europe. It invests in Euro-denominated, fixed-rate, investment grade covered bonds that have at least one year remaining to maturity. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Markit iBoxx Euro Covered Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. It was formerly known as iShares III Public Limited Company - iShares Markit iBoxx Euro Covered Bond. iiShares Euro Covered Bond UCITS ETF was formed on August 1, 2008 and is domiciled in Ireland.
