This index seeks to track the performance of a diverse group of companies, spanning large, mid, and small market capitalizations across both developed and emerging economies worldwide. To be included, companies must demonstrate significant involvement in technological innovation within the financial services sector, meeting a specific relevance threshold. Furthermore, stringent Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria are applied, excluding firms that lack an MSCI ESG rating, receive a CCC rating, are involved in controversial weaponry, exceed revenue limits in sectors like tobacco, various weapons, fossil fuels (thermal coal, oil sands), or do not adhere to the United Nations Global Compact principles.
