In addition, the company is involved in construction projects consulting; research and development of electricity equipment; hire purchase of electric vehicles; shore tank rental and crude palm oil pipeline transport services; research, development, manufacture, and distribution of lithium-ion batteries for applications, such as electric automobiles and energy storage systems; and operation of charging stations.
The company was formerly known as Suntech Palm Oil Ltd. and changed its name to Energy Absolute Public Company Limited in 2008.
